So, this is my first post with my new direction in mind. I had a blog previously on MySpace that was mostly like a diary and I decided that I didn't care enough to update it very often. This iteration is going to be a bit more focused. I'm a gamer, playing games is a big part of my life, and I've decided to write a bit of a blog on my gaming experiences and thoughts.
So, let's get on with the introductions. My name isn't really Paladin Revenant, but that's what I'm going to go by, at least for now. I am a gamer. I'm probably an addict as well, but it's such a fun vice to have. I'm not a professional gamer, I'm not even a "serious" gamer, I'm a casual gamer. I play a lot of games and they take up a lot of my free time, but they are a hobby and I do them to relax. I believe that to really enjoy the game I can't stress about it and thus I don't put enough effort into any given game to be considered "hardcore". It's fun, I do it for the love.
So what do I mean when I say "I am a gamer"? It means that I play games, that much is probably obvious. I play all sorts of games. I play lots of video games both on the PC and on a few consoles. I play tabletop roleplaying games, and I play all manner of card, board, and party games.
In this blog I plan to talk about my experiences with such games and I'll probably talk about expectations for upcoming games and new tech and the like.
Anyway, I think that's all for my introductory posting. I'll write more whenever the mood strikes me.
